Research Core Overview

Research support services and equipment

guyton-building.jpgAll of the CMDRC projects are facilitated by services that the research cores provide to investigators. The cores offer well-maintained facilities and research technical support to standardize measurements for accuracy and reproducibility. Specifically, the cores provide expertise in the areas of bioanalytical assays, mass spectroscopy, histology, biostatistics, molecular/genomics and genetically engineered animal models. The technical expertise and equipment that the research cores provide and make available to CMDRC investigators greatly enhances the capabilities of their individual research projects.

All users of CMDRC core services and/or equipment should cite the COBRE NIH grant in each publication, press release or other document about research supported by an NIH award. The following statement should be used:

"Research reported in this publication was supported by the National Institute Of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number P20GM104357. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health."
